Chad A. Carlsson, OD graduated with Honors from the Illinois College of Optometry (ICO) in Chicago, IL. Following completion of his doctorate degree, he elected to further his education by completing a Pediatric and Binocular Vision Disorders residency program. During his residency, Dr. Carlsson worked with children and adults in the management of various forms of visual dysfunctions including strabismus, amblyopia, and other accommodative disorders. He also worked in advanced care, treating and managing ocular pathologies such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and uveitis. Through this residency he also furthered his education in emergency rotations, anterior segment disease, and specialty contact lens fittings.
Since graduation, Dr. Carlsson has worked for Nationwide Vision Centers in Arizona becoming further specialized in pediatric and family eye care. During his employment, his knowledge and patient care solidified his experience and provided him with pediatric specialty recognition. Dr. Carlsson’s dream of starting his own practice which offers high quality eye services, patient care, and ophthalmic products is now open. Dr. Carlsson is married and has two children, Nicholas and Riley. He and his family live in the Gilbert area.

Anne M. Carlsson MS, OTR/L graduated with Honors from Washington University in St. Louis, MO with a Masters in Occupational Therapy. Since graduation, she has worked in the public school setting, in early intervention, and in private practice treating children ages 0-18 years of age with a multitude of diagnoses. Mrs. Carlsson has been a presenter in both Illinois and Arizona speaking on “Sensory Integration in the School System” and “Optometry and OT: A Partnership for Success.” Mrs. Carlsson currently works part-time as an independent contractor for the Riverside School District and is new owner of New View Therapy, LLC which offers occupational and vision therapy services. Anne brings with her years of experience as a clinician and therapist to combine principles of vision therapy and occupational therapy in a “whole child” approach.
Dr. and Mrs. Carlsson have been married 5 years and live in the Gilbert area with their two children, Nicholas and Riley.
